March 2, 2016

Marriott Riverside at the Convention Center (3400 Market Street Riverside, CA 92501)

What will be covered?

To assist colleges in the development of their funding application (plan), the Chancellor’s Office’s Institutional Effectiveness Partnership Initiative is sponsoring four (4) workshops (one in Northern California, one in the Central Valley, and two in Southern California) throughout February and early March. Each workshop will feature practitioners and other experts who will provide information on a variety of evidence-based and nationally recognized principles and practices related to basic skills (such as contextualizing instruction and offering statistics-based remedial pathways to students). The goal is for attendees to leave these highly interactive workshops with a set of high-impact strategies for inclusion in their college’s funding application.
